CARWASH REVOLUTION OFFERS HANDS ON SERVICE AT SUPERSTORES
Shoppers at Superstores stores across the south of England can now drive away after their weekly shop in gleaming, clean cars, thanks to a new, personalised service on offer in the store’s car park.
The brainchild of entrepreneur Rick Plowman, Hands On has been heralded as the extra mile in the complete supermarket customer service experience, and has already secured sites around the region with its timesaving, ‘wash-while-you-shop’ ethos.
Operated in teams of 8-12 in the supermarket car park, Hands On uses environment-friendly cleaning materials and a minimum of water. In just 20 minutes, cars are left sparkling - with no streaks, as with traditional drive-through car washes.
“One of the key benefits of our Hands On service is that it’s significantly better for your car than automatic, drive-through car washing,” explains operations director, John Lavin. “Paintwork is now made up of water-based paints and so automatic car washes tend to increase the chances of grit and stones damaging and chipping your car. Hands On only uses car-friendly materials and the expert training we give our team guarantees your paintwork stays intact.”
The service costs just £5 per car.
